Year 9 looked at architecture, faces, expression and distortion to produce these frightening gargoyles.
Year 9 began these landscapes by drawing a figure under a sheet. The folds and creases became ridges and valleys. They looked at landscape artist Paul Nash and considered mood and weather effects.
These lino prints were produced after pupils came back from the summer holiday and show the exciting places they visited. They looked at Gauguin's prints of his exotic new home in Tahiti and examined his use of flowing, organic lines and simplification.
