John Keys was appointed Director of Music at St Mary's, Nottingham, in 1984 after a period of postgraduate studies with Lionel Rogg in Geneva. The same year he won the Fourth Manchester International Organ Competition. Prior to that he had been Assistant Organist of Chester Cathedral and Organ Scholar of New College, Oxford. Kevin Leese was educated at the Royal College of Music, London graduating on the piano in 1978 having studied with Miss Phyllis Sellick .  He gets great enjoyment from teaching the piano to all ages and is a keen performer, and particularly enjoys accompanying instrumentalists.
