Nottingham High School CCF Royal Air Force section contains around 70 cadets and 3 officers. Each year up 30 cadets join the RAF section in year 10.
The RAF section regularly travel to RAF Cranwell for the Air Experience Flights in the Grob Tutor. Most cadets will experience at least 2 flights during their time in year 10 and 11 although weather conditions can reduce the number of opportunities to fly. They also gain experience in Gliders at RAF Syerston.
Field Days regularly give cadets the opportunity to take part in Adventurous Training or Self Reliance Activities. The next field day is Friday 30th June.
Summer Camp 2006 will take place at RAF Valley from Saturday 15th July to Saturday 22nd July.
