Each term there is a Field Day for all boys in Year 10 and 11. The Community Action Group are involved in several projects including:
- Conservation work in conjunction with the Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust.
- Conservation work at Stonebridge City Farm, Sneinton (see photos below).
- Maintaining the environment and ecology around the school grounds and the Biology pond.
- Visits to Shepherd School, Aspley where pupils help children with severe learning difficulties.
- Visits to Berridge School, Hyson Green and Melbury Primary School, Bilborough where pupils engage in activities with the children, (see photo above).
- Visits to St Anns Well Infant and Nursery School
