Distinctions are awarded for excellent work – whether regarded absolutely or as a significant ‘personal best.’  Such work can be a single piece or a sequence showing particular persistence and sustained quality.  Distinctions and House certificates are also awarded for comparable achievements outside the classroom.

 

Headmaster’s Prizes are awarded on Speech Day to those who have achieved the greatest number of distinctions during the previous school year, along with many other prizes and trophies.
