Congratulations to the Cooper's House chess team who won the very first Wheeler Cup event on October 3rd. With impressive panache they disposed of Maples' 4½-1½, crushed Mellers' 6-0, and beat White's 5-1, thus gaining 15½ points out of a possible 18. This was the most convincing performance in this competition for a long while. Particular congratualtions go to Balvinder Grewal, our captain, Dominic Heining, and Edwin Justice, who all remained unbeaten. Ted Pynegar, Daniel Lin, Ashton Alfred, and Chris Heining also had an excellent evening.
Let us keep up the momentum on our way to retaining the cup this year!

In the first ever House Hockey Competition, held on Wednesday 9th November, despite a valiant effort from our team, who won one game, drew another and lost the third, we came 4th overall.
Younger hockey players can begin targeting next year's competition!
