Welcome to the Nottingham High School ICT Support Services webpage. Our aim is to provide a reliable, efficient, and secure network and telecommunication infrastructure to support teaching, learning, and administration for the School community.
These pages are designed to enable you get the best out of ICT in the School, and to help the support staff deal with your requests and problems as quickly and efficiently as possible.
ICT Support Services consists of two main areas of service and expertise:
Networking & Telecommunications
- Network infrastructure (devices and cabling)
- ntl telephones, telephone cabling and Vodaphone mobiles
- Wired and wireless network and Internet access
Systems Administration
- Maintenance and security of all School servers and server-based applications
- Network printing
- E-mail services, including virus and spam management
- Network file storage, including backup and restoration
- Network account management (user IDs, passwords, drive access)
