Account Management
All members of the academic staff and designated support staff of Nottingham High School are eligible to receive an account granting access to the School's computer network.  This privilege is available to both part time and full time staff.  A network account is needed in order to utilise the School's e-mail system, shared network drives, individual network storage, and any specialised access needed for specific positions.  In order to process all network account requests efficiently, the proper paperwork should be submitted in a timely manner.
 
To obtain your account, you must have completed a data capture form and have an entry on the staff database.  In addition you need to sign and return the relevant Acceptable Use Policies (pdf files below) to either the Headmaster (Academic Staff) or Director of Finance and Estates (Support Staff) in order to validate your request.
 
On receipt of the completed AUPs you will be given:
 
  • network access
  • Internet access
  • an email account
  • network storage
 
Please be aware that network access, Internet use and emails are monitored and you should ensure that you are familiar with the School's policies on their use.
