It gives us great pleasure to announce that Nottingham High Junior School is officially The Sunday Times Independent Preparatory School of the Year 2012!
Nottingham High Junior School is ranked as the top boys’ prep school outside London and is placed in 8th position overall.
This is a fantastic achievement and follows shortly after a successful ISI report. Congratulations to all of the staff, pupils and parents.

At Nottingham High Junior School, our aim is to foster in each boy a love of learning that will carry him through his senior school years and into adult life. They are part of a community of learners, where each individual is important. We tailor our curriculum to meet the unique ways in which boys learn and to support them to challenge themselves in their learning journey.
A passion for exploring and widening experience is engendered in all we do and each boy has the opportunity to participate in a varied and diverse range of activities within and outside the classroom such as art, music, sport, drama and chess.
Here, in our school, boys feel secure to experiment and grow pastorally and academically in a nurturing and safe environment which allows them to take full advantage of the opportunities available.

SATS 2012 results
In the recent SATS tests our Junior School boys have continued to perform exceptionally well with 87% achieving Level 5 in English and 91% achieving Level 5 in Maths. Well done to all the boys AND the staff on these fantastic results!
