House Information

There are four Houses in the Junior School: Ball's, Hardy's, Tonkin's and Treases'

Each house is named after a man who had connections with the High School and who served with distinction in the First World War.

There are Inter-House competitions throughout the year in athletics, football, cricket, swimming, chess, music, general knowledge and table tennis.

The Houses also compete for the General Efficiency Cup, the most important of all the trophies, which was presented to the School by Mr William Crane in 1927.  The trophy was given by Mr Crane to take account of what he felt were essentials for a boy:
industry, manners, smartness and helpfulness.
