Cricket Team Victorious
St Anselm’s U11 Cricket Festival
Our first match was against Willow, we defeated them by only 3 runs. Next we defeated Stockport Grammar by 6 runs. In the third match, the boys scored 58, but Mylnhurst could only reply with 16. Our final match in the group was against our hosts St. Anselms. Both teams had won all their matches, meaning the winner would go straight into a final. We limited them to 23 runs. Our batters managed to reach the target without losing a wicket. In the Final, we went with the bat first and finished with 27 runs. It was our lowest total of the day. Fortunately, the team bowled and fielded very well and we were victorious, defeating them by 7 runs.
