SOLO VOICE
The Solo Voice was won for Tonkins by Austin with a great rendition of 'Consider Yourself'. A special mention needs to go to Tom who stepped in at the last minute to replace two ill soloists from Treases.
BRASS
Peter went on to win the a closely fought brass competition winning 8 points for Balls.
WOODWIND
Jake won the judge over with a perfect piece on the clarinet scoring a very rarely seen 10 out of 10. Jake was eventually awarded the Wilfred Horsley Trophy for Best individual performance.
STRINGS
Coleman in the first of two performances in the afternoon scored 9 out of 10 on the violin, adding extra points to Treases score.
PIANOFORTE
Coleman improved upon his previous 9/10 by getting full marks for his piano work. He pushed Jake closely for the award of best individual performance but after much deliberation the judge ruled in Jakes favour...a very close call!
