Everton Football Club...

On Saturday 11th March ’06 a group of ten children and eight adults set off to Liverpool for the day. The journey on the mini bus seemed very long, especially as it vibrated so hard you were never sitting still. About half way to Liverpool we had a rest at the service station, it was meant to be 10 minutes, but lasted 15 minutes instead.

When we first arrived in Liverpool we walked to Anfield stadium to see the museum of Liverpool Football Club. We saw their kits from 1903 to 2006 and much, much more. Then we went to the shop! After the shop we took photos outside the stadium, then we went to eat our packed lunches. After lunch we played football in the park (Girls v Boys) the boys won.

After the game we went to Everton Football Club, to see Everton v Fulham. The match was awesome, when it was half time Mr Jones went to get a cup of tea and missed the best goal of the match! He was devastated as Everton scored it! The match ended Everton 3 – Fulham 1. We all enjoyed the trip so did Mr Jones (even though he missed the best goal of the match).
