It was Friday evening at 2:15 and Nottingham High Junior School were preparing to kick off against Greenholme School. Mr. Dixon was refereeing the game. The starting team for Nottingham High was, Jack McCann in goal, Max Bowling and James Atkinson in defence, Isaac Carlisle, Simon Walton and Ben Hahn in Midefield and Martel Hamilton and Chris Hurrel upfront. The captain was Chris Hurrel and the vice captain Max Bowling. The game started and about ten minutes into the half Greenholme scored and took the lead. Five minutes later Simon Walton's shot was deflected in and the Junior School equalised. In the last few minutes of the half Chris Hurrel an amazing goal to put the Junior School 2-1 up. The half ended and the Junior School were really excited. William Anderson came on and the half began. Five minutes into the second half Greenholme started to attack and scored quite a good goal to make it 2-2. The Junior School began to push forward and William Anderson was inches away from scoring a magnificent goal. The defence struggled to get back as Greenholme pushed forward and unluckily Greenholme scored to make it 3-2. Mr. Dixon blew for full-time. Everyone shaked hands. The final score was 3-2 to Greenholme.
