Our Year 5 group headed off to Cranedale in North Yorkshire for the weekend in preparation for the full week in Year 6. All had a great time and as you can see below the boys have some special and at times funnies memories to share...
My favourite memory was the survival game. It was wicked. I was at the bottom of the food chain (a herbivore). Everyone was trying to eat me (don't worry they did not try to eat me literally). I survived the whole game! (an hour)
Tom Wild
My favourite moment at Cranedale was when we were at the top of the large hill looking over the massive views with Matt and Oli. The walk that day was really fun because me and Matt were walking at the back talking about the stuff at Cranedale. The food was really good, it tasted like food from a posh restaurant. One of the best activities was
the hunting game in the woods when Mr.Dixon walked straight past me and Matt who were hiding in a massive bush. I was in a room with Daniel and Kelsey. Fraser was meant to be in the room as well but he hurt his ankle so he couldn't come.
Rhys McCarthy
My favourite memory was when we were playing a game in the North Yorkshire
Moors, and Tom backfliped into the trench full of water. it was really
funny. Hewas really wet. When we walked back to the mini bus I could
feel the mud squelching under my feet.
Nathan Hawksworth
My favourite memory is when we were playing a game called 'Fox and Chicken'. Tom was a chicken and all the foxes surrounded him . Tom jumped up did a backflip and fell into a marsh.
Roshan Vindla
My favourite memory of Cranedale was when my group caught a leech while we stream dipping
Charles James
My favourite memory of Cranedale was when Tom Wild fell into a trench and was covered in muddy water also I enjoyed the Fox and Grouch game which was just like hide and seek.
Ross Mackay
My favourite memory at Cranedale was the survival game when Daniel was right in front of me and he missed me. My other favourite memory was the lovely food (which was mainly
homemade)
Neel Kothari
My favourite memory of cranedale is in the game in North York Moor where we played a game called the chicken and the fox. This was where Tom fell into a hole full of water.
Jeremy Yau
My favourite memory of crandale was when we were on top of a very steep, high cliff at levisham moor. We could see the whole of the moor and there was a lot of wind.
Yusuf Aslam
My favourite memory of Cranedale is after we came back from Levisham Moor. We were in the lab examining the small insects we had caught with a microscope. We couldn't see them very well so we put a bright light on them. Unfortunately after about five minutes, mine died.
