The annual Ingram Cup event was an afternoon filled with excellent musical performance both by individuals and by house groups. The house competition awards points for
solo performance by house representatives in each of the following sections; Woodwind, Brass, Strings, Pianoforte & Voice. There are also points awarded for the Partington Cup which is a house choir competition. All of the points awarded on the afternoon are added to 'Standard' points which are awarded to each boy depending on their current musical standard - this is assessed in the week leading up to the Ingram Cup Final.
The winners of the Ingram cup this year were Treases. They only beat Tonkins to the top by two points on the afternoon but having a 40 points more than any team in the standard points made sure they were always going to be clear winners. The final results table can be seen
here.
On the afternoon Tonkins won the Partington Cup for the best house choir performance, followed closely by Balls and then Hardy's & Treases.
