An annual event for Years 5 and 6 that takes place in the Founder Hall as part of the Mathematics curriculum. Martin Jennings comes in from the Architecture Workshops Company and leads the sessions about bridges and shelters. He starts from basics including the strength of triangles and tetrahedrons, and then the boys go on to make trusses that can be used in their designs. It is always a great day and most educational as well as fun. I'm always hoping that one day we have a world famous architect as part of our alumni!
