Yr.6 Galleries of Justice Visit
Under the guidance of Mrs Harrison and Mrs Sweeney we took an exciting tram ride into Nottingham to visit the Galleries of Justice and a new exhibition called ‘Narrow Marsh’. Here we learnt about this deprived area of Nottingham in Victorian times and found out about living and working conditions. We also spent a lesson in the Reform School, but I am pleased to say that our chanting of the times tables was better than the teacher Mr Dent was expecting! Mrs Anderton and Mrs Martin also accompanied the boys and found the artefacts most interesting. It was a great trip which we all enjoyed very much.
