Yr. 3 - Dentist
In science a dentist came in and talked about teeth. She told us a lot about teeth, she taught us how to brush our teeth well and she told us what was good for us and what was unhealthy. The dentist gave us an activity to do with healthy food and unhealthy food - she put a green card for good food and she put a yellow card for ok things and she put a red card for bad things. Then she told us about our molars and incisors our premolars and our canine teeth.

When Mrs Lord the Dentist came, she was really nice. We learnt a lot about teeth. The cool thing was,she passed round packets of real teeth and real ex-rays! She also brought in goody bags for us to have in our next science lesson, including how-long-you-brush-your-teeth-for timers. She also showed us how to brush our teeth with a model mouth.
