The Junior School ICT suite was recently refurbished and holds 28 PC's, interactive white board and projector, a scanner and includes colour and black and white printing facilities. In the Junior School we are currently aiming to further develop our digital media and its use within all areas of the curriculum.

We recently bought two very high quality digital cameras and hope to add to these with further digital camera and digital camcorder purchases. It is our aim that the use of digital media will play an increasing role in the children's work.

 

 

Across the Nottingham High School site we have put filters and firewalls in place to try to ensure that the content viewed is as appropriate and child-friendly as possible.

 

Staff, children and parents agree to a code of conduct for using the ICT facilities which clearly states the expectations we have for anybody using our network. Within the ICT suite the teacher has the opportunity to monitor the children's work at any point on the teacher's computer screen.
