On Friday 26th September, year 5 went to Boreatton Park.
There were a lot of activities such as: abseiling, archery, challenge course, low ropes, quad biking and many more!

When we arrived at Boreatton Park we met a lady called Susie. She told us which groups we were in. That night we played a game called fifty – fifty. It was 5G vs. 5M; my challenge was to peel an orange only with my mouth! I lost against Tayyib because I ate the orange instead of peeling it.

The next day my group had low ropes and archery to start the day. One of the challenges was to climb across a rope upside down. For archery Conan and Harjit were the only ones who hit a bull’s-eye.

Later that day we all did the challenge course, the best thing was the tunnel because the roof lowered until I got stuck. Then we had abseiling. Although I was really scared I still did it. To end the day we played night trackers. Night trackers are games were you have to track down the other team in pitch blackness without being ambushed.

On the last day we had raft building. We had the better raft and we were the first ones to finish building. We had a challenge. The first ones to destroy the other teams raft won. Will Banks and I were the ones who were the first to attack. When we realized we could not climb on to their raft we decided to swim for the shore. When I got out I saw my trousers had fallen down. To finish it off we had rifles and quad biking.
