Classroom at Lovell House

  The School Day

The School day begins at 8.45am with registration, then assembly. The boys stay in their classes for all their lessons. The majority of subjects are taught by their class teacher, although specialist teachers are used for ICT, Swimming, French and Music.

During the mornings the boys undertake literacy and numeracy lessons, with a break for milk, fruit and playing outside.

Lunch is held in the Lovell House dining hall where the boys get a choice of lunch. Afterwards they are given time to play in the gardens and playground and participate in chosen clubs.

Lessons continue until 3.45pm with a fifteen minute break at 2.30pm. Subjects are taught in an integrated curriculum to allow time for play and problem-solving activities to take place
