On 28th February the whole school attended the four House performances of the Verse-Speaking Choirs section of the Bridge Cup in the Player Hall.

Four superb performances were delivered by each of the four Houses:

Cooper's -  Jabberwocky by Lewis Carroll
Mellers' -  The Rime of the Ancient Mariner by S.T. Coleridge
White's -  The Little Admiral by Sir Henry Newbolt
Maples' -  The Lesson by Roger McGough

The performances were all very varied, and were competently adjudicated by His Honour Judge Tony Mitchell.

With only 4 points separating the winner from 4th place, it was a difficult decision, but there could only be one winner - and the honours went to White's, ably conducted by Edward Foster (6T2).

Congratulations to Edward and the entire White's choir!
