This year's Christmas Concert was held over the nights of December 4th and 5th in the Player Hall.

On the 4th, the first half featured the Junior Big Band and the Joint Choir and Joint Strings, whilst on the 5th it featured the Training Band, the Lower School Strings and the Junior Choir.

The second half of both nights followed the same format, with the Concert Band playing two of the pieces they played recently in Rome, together with a medley of tunes in a tribute to Count Basie, and a festive arrangement of a number of traditional Christmas songs in Christmas Recollections.

Oliver Metcalfe brought the house down with his rendition of Nessun Dorma, whilst the barbershop group, Cutting Harmony, sang a medley of traditional barbershop arrangements. The Big Band brought the concert to a close with numbers from Glenn Miller and Frank Sinatra - with Oliver Metcalfe taking the vocal lead.

A collection on behalf of the charity MusicSpace Trust raised over £1150 over the 2 nights, which was a fantastic sum.

Many thanks to all who supported the concert, to the boys for their stunning performances, and to the staff for their committment, hard work and preparation.
