Boys and staff at Nottingham High School played host this week to 23 rugby-playing pupils from Fielding High School in Palmerston North, New Zealand.

 

The visitors spent 2 days at the School as part of their pre-season training, with the visit culminating in a match between their 1st XV and the NHS 1st XV at Moderns' ground in Wilford. After the match boys and staff enjoyed a traditional 'pie and peas' dinner in the pavillion.

 

Fielding High School will be one of the hosts for Nottingham High School's rugby players on their forthcoming pre-season tour of New Zealand in July, so all the boys are looking forward to the opportunity to stage a return match.
