On Saturday, 8th November, the School held its annual Open Day. Over 200 boys helped to make this yet another successful day, by giving up their time to stage a number of classroom-based activities and guide our visitors around the School.
Open Day is one of the most important occasions in the school year, as it underpins our recruitment of pupils for the years that follow. We were pleased to see so many visitors, especially given the current climate - and the inclement weather!
Activities ranged from participating in Chemistry experiments, to Greek food-tasting and scaling the Climbing Wall.
Not only were visitors able to take part in a range of activities, but they were able to get a glimpse of the new Dining Hall and Sixth Form centre, due to open in September 2009, in a specially commissioned DVD - as well as through the viewing points overlooking the Quad.
