Speech Day 2008 was held on 4th September at the Royal Concert Hall. This year's Guest of Honour was Lt Gen Sir Philip Trousdell, who, as well as awarding the prizes, made an entertaining and thought-provoking speech about education and leadership.

 

Music was provided by the Senior Strings ensemble, clarinettist Jake Hinson, and Oliver Metcalfe and Mr Wilkinson, who closed the proceedings with a rendition of " The Time of Your Life" by Greenday.
