Work on the new Dining Hall and Sixth form Centre is progressing well and on schedule. The steelwork for the columns and the mezzanine floors is now largely in place, and the concrete for the first and second floor levels is due to arrive the first week of half-term.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ground workers have also started excavations for new drains and ducts (let's hope they don't discover any old caves!).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We are continuing to ensure that as much of the building work as possible is done with the minimum disruption to school life - which is no mean feat, given the location of most of the work right in the heart of the School!
