Society Annual Dinner
Nottingham High School, New Dining Hall
Saturday 20th March 2010 - from 6.45pm for 7.15pm
Old Boys are invited to attend the Society Annual Dinner on Saturday 20th March 2010. Don't miss this fabulous opportunity to visit School and dine with friends and old classmates in the impressive surroundings of the former West Quad, which from September 2009 took on a new lease of life as the Senior School Dining Hall and Sixth Form Centre. Guided tours around School will be available between 2-4pm. The ticket price includes sparkling wine reception drinks and table wine.
Cost: £35 per person (students £25.00 per person)

Programme: To be confirmed, but will include an opportunity to attend the Founders Day Service, lunch, tours around School, cricket at Valley Road, a formal dinner with partners and former members of staff on Saturday night in the new Senior School Dining Hall and Sixth Form Centre plus the opportunity for informal get togethers on Friday evening and or Sunday.

Class of 1985 ......
Jonathan Hammond (1975 - 1985) is trying to put together a database for anyone who was in his year at School and who left in either 1983 or 1985 having done A levels.

EAST INDIA CLUB – J7 MEMBERSHIP
As you may be aware the East India Club, or to give it its full and formal title, the East India, Devonshire, Sports and Public Schools Club, is able to make a unique offer to leavers under the J7 Scheme inherited from the Public Schools Club which merged with the East India in 1972.
Originally seven years for seven pounds, the fee is now £300 but this covers full membership until the 31st December following the 25th Birthday. A graduated increase in subscription over the following 5 years until full payment is reached.
The East India Club enjoys a wonderful situation in St James’s Square and is prospering. Over 35% of current members are under the age of 30 and welcomes the exuberance and talents that they bring. Intererestingly, some 30% of J7’s continue membership from 25 years of age and these form the life blood of the Club.

Applications need to be endorsed personally by the Headmaster who is also an honorary member of the Club. The Club is delighted to be able to continue the J7 tradition which is benefits both the young gentlemen and also the Club of which they will become part.
