ON Annual Dinner 2006

The Society's Annual Dinner was held at the Park Inn on Mansfield Road on Friday 31st March and was attended by around 140 members and guests - believed to be a record attendance or nearly so.

 

A convivial evening was had by all and the diners were entertained by four speakers:

 

Tim Portwood - former School Captain and now a successful lawyer in France;

Simon Jackson - recently retired Honorary Secretary of the Society;

Chris Adams - current Deputy President of the Society; and

His Honour John Hopkin - retired Circuit Judge and Chairman of Governors at the Girls High School.
