Valley Road Parking

We have been informed that yellow lines will soon be painted in the streets surrounding Valley Road.  As a result, we have been in discussions with Nottingham City Hospital Trust about using their car-parks when we have fixtures at Valley Road.  There are car-parks on the other side of Hucknall Road from the field with a pedestrian crossing to come back into the playing fields.  The City Hospital car parking manager has agreed that parents can park there on our match days.  It is important to point out that the parking charge (£2.70 for two hours) will need to be paid via the pay and display machines.  The signs say ‘hospital users only’ but we have negotiated to make use of the spaces available.  The Trust does not accept responsibility for the loss of/or damage to, private property including motor vehicles.  Motor vehicles and/or personal property are brought onto Trust premises entirely at the owner’s risk.

We would encourage you to park there even in advance of the yellow lines being painted to show consideration for those that live in the streets around Valley Road.  This Saturday there were large numbers of empty spaces available in the car parks so it should ease the problem which we have had for a number of years.
