Simon Crowther, Year 11, has been chosen as the UK winner of the Stockholm Junior Water Prize. This competition, sponsored by the Chartered Institution of Water Environmental Management, is aimed at pupils between the ages of 15 and 20. Students can submit projects on any aspect of the water sector and this year Simon's 'Dry Flood' project has been chosen as the UK winner of the prize.

As the UK winner Simon has now been invited to represent the UK at the international part of the Junior Water Prize in Stockholm during World Water Week in September. Whilst there Simon will meet representatives from more than thirty other countries, present his project to the international judges and mix with attendees from all over the world. Well done, Simon, and good luck in Stockholm!
