Blue Peter presenter Helen Skelton took to the skies of Lincolnshire with the Red Arrows for her latest Red Nose Day Challenge.

The challenge saw the dare-devil presenter fly with Arrow’s Squadron Leader, Red 1, on the most terrifying ride of her life.

She said: “I was sick with nerves and excitement before the flight but I feel honoured to have had this opportunity and I feel completely ecstatic now I’ve done it.”

“The air cadets have been fantastic and I was genuinely overwhelmed when I saw all of the hard work they have done fundraising and how many turned out to see the fly past today."
