160 Chess players competed in the Nottingham Congress over the week-end of 29 & 30 March, which was held at NHS. Two NHS players did particularly well.  Karam Sangha was unbeaten in the Under 13s grade Intermediate Section with a score of 3 out of 5. The best performance was by Hari Solomonides who was joint winner of the Under 16s grade Major section with a score of 4 points out of 5 - ahead of nearly 50 other players, both adults and juniors and winning a three figure prize!
