How many books are there in the Library?

How do I borrow library books?
When you have made your selection of books, take them to the library desk, where the librarian will register them on the library computer.  You will need to produce your school Smart card, so we can issue them to the correct reader.
 
Where do I return books?
It is important that you return anything that you have borrowed to the Library desk, so that they can be returned on the computer.  Please do not leave them on a table or give them to a friend.
 
How do I find out what the library has in stock?
The Library Catalogue (Oliver OPAC) can be accessed through any computer in the school. Simply go to Start-All programs-Library Enquiry and Login to your account.
 
Can I suggest a book for the library to buy?
Yes. If you would like to read a title which the library doesn't currently have in stock, fill in a reservation slip and we will let you know whether or not we will get a copy.
 
Can I reserve books?
Yes. You can reserve anything the library has in stock.  Ask at the desk for a reservation slip. 
 
Can I borrow magazines.?
All of the current copies of magazines are to read in the library only.  However some of the back copies may be borrowed.
 
What should I do if I lose a book?
Contact one of the library staff.
