The Library Collection is divided into a Lower School Library, an Upper School Library and an Archive/Library Office.
The Library stock comprises a wide range of fiction, both classic and contemporary; non-fiction covering all curriculum areas and of recreation/hobby interest; a large DVD collection with a substantial Foreign Language section; a range of magazines and most daily national newspapers.
There are 11 internet linked computers, print and photocopying facilities.
The Library also houses the Careers Library with information on Universities, Professions and Career pathways.
Borrowing
Pupils may borrow 4 items at a time for up to three weeks before renewing or returning them. Sixth Formers may borrow six items at a time. Books must be returned by the agreed date or future borrowing may be restricted.

The complete library catalogue is available on the Library computers, and signing on with their school number will enable pupils to reserve books, check personal user records and browse the Library Collection.
