Success for A Level economists
On Friday, 20th March our team of A Level economists travelled to London to take part in the National Final of the Target 2.0 competition at the Bank of England. In a hairline decision that the judges needed 15 minutes longer than the allotted time to reach, they were judged to be runners-up, missing out on becoming National Champions by the narrowest of margins. This is the culmination of many months of additional study and countless hours of preparation. As a mark of their achievement, the Bank of England presented them with a notebook computer each and a cheque for £5000.00 for the School. Congratulations go to the team who consist of: James Applewhite, Shahan Aziz, Virang Dal and team captain Simon Durrant.
