D H Lawrence's great-nephew visits School

A great nephew of D H Lawrence, one of the School's more famous Old Nottinghamians, visited the School recently.  Tony Lawrence, 85, himself an ON, had flown over from Canada to visit some of his old haunts, including his old school.  Tony joined Nottingham High School in 1938 - 40 years after his great-uncle D H Lawrence started studying here.     

Tony was shown artefacts and memorabilia from the School archives, and was able to view both his own and D.H.Lawrence's entries in the School ledgers, together with his class photograph.
