Duke of Edinburgh

Nottingham High School
As a Directly Licenced Centre, Nottingham High School offers the Duke Of Edinburgh Award Scheme at all levels. Bronze in Year Nine, Silver in Year Ten and Gold in Year Twelve.

The Training for the award takes place all year and will be completed during lunch times with some activities taking place during weekends at Bronze Level. For the Expedition section we offer Walking at all levels and Canoeing and Cycling at Silver and Gold. The expedition dates follow approximately the same pattern each year and they can be found in the school calendar. Our Expeditions take us to Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Shropshire, Yorkshire and Northumberland.

Getting started with eDofE

eDofE is an interactive online system that helps young people manage their DofE programme and Leaders monitor their progress. See the resources below for help with your account.

Expedition Resources

The expedition section of the DofE Award requires participants to plan an expedition with an aim. This aim is then presented post expedition, perhaps in the car park at the end of the final day at your debrief, or by putting together a video, scrapbook, album, powerpoint, display or verbal presentation.
