Year 5 pupils from various primary schools visited the High School for our annual 'Year 5 Taster Day' in June.

 

Activities ran in the Chemistry Department for several of the groups.

 

 

The boys were treated to demonstrations from Chemistry staff.

 

 

All enjoyed the 'hands on' practical work - especially the 'messy volcanoes'.

 

 

 

Teachers were enthusiastically supported by a number of our current students.

 

 

 

 

 

The older boys were kept busy!

 

 

 

All in all, a successful and enjoyable event for everyone involved!
