The aim of the Year 7 course is foremost for you to enjoy the subject – you will learn new terminology and do lots of experiments your self. The course is divided into 4 sections, each with its own workbook.

At the end of each section there will be a short test to ensure that you have understood the ideas introduced and to show you the areas you may need to work more on.

At the end of Year 7 there will be a summer examination.  The revision sheet for this year's summer exam is available to download here.

Chemistry Club for Year 7 runs every Thursday at third break in C4.  It's a great opportunity for the boys to try out fun, messy and sometimes explosive experiments that are not part of the normal teaching curriculum.
