1.      Begin each piece of work with:

2.      Write the numbers of questions at the left hand side of the page.

3.      Rule a line after each completed piece of work but do not waste any space before starting a new piece of work.

4.      Always write in blue or black ink, preferably with a proper pen.

5.      Do your work as neatly as possible at all times.

6.      Draw diagrams and graphs neatly with a sharp pencil - use a ruler for all axes and straight lines.  Use coloured pencils to improve the appearance of diagrams.

7.      Never write on the cover of your exercise book or in your textbook (apart from your name, form and the initials of your teacher).

8.      Always take notice of any comments written by your teacher when your book is returned after being marked.  Do not forget to do any requested corrections.

9.      Come prepared for the lesson with your textbook, exercise books, rough book, calculator, pen, sharp pencil, ruler, protractor, pair of compasses, ruler and coloured pencils

10.    Make sure that you write down your homework instructions including the date on which the work is to be handed in.  Make sure that your work is handed in on time!

11.    Ask your teacher to explain any work that you do not understand, but do not leave it until the day the work is due in.
