In Year 8 we follow  the “Tricolore 2 nouvelle edition” textbook. We aim to have completed at least the first two units by the end of the Autumn Term, and then to have finished four more units by the end of the academic year.

 

Every half term, there are whole year Vocabulary Tests, which will eventually count towards 25% of each pupil’s final end-of-year mark. The vocabulary tested is listed in the textbook at the end of each unit in the “Sommaire”. Throughout the book there are also explanations of the grammatical points in the sections called “Dossier-Langue”.
