Welcome to The Friends of Nottingham High School home page, all parents are Friends of Nottingham High School, and are welcome to join us at any of our termly meetings, where we try to organise events for all the parents to enjoy and at the same time raise a little money to provide something for the School which otherwise they may not have and which will be used for the benefit of all the boys. In the past we have raised money for sound equipment in the Player Hall, we have bought an interactive white board and refurbished the Small Lecture Theatre and bought stage lighting and equipment for the Gym, and contributed towards a brand new Minibus. Last year we provided 6 new benches to be placed around the school and a defibrillator to be kept at Valley Road.
This year we will be contributing towards items for the sixth form centre.
FORTHCOMING FRIENDS EVENTS
Wednesday 21st May 2008 - UEFA Champions League Final on the Big Screen at the Old Nottinghamians' Sports Ground - Adbolton from 6.45pm. Tickets £3.00 including BBQ, can be purchased from the school reception.
Friday 27th June 2008 - Year 13 Leavers 'Strawberries and Wine' Event to be held in the Player Hall for both year 13 boys and their parents.
Sunday 29th June 2008 - 'Summer Fun Day' - details t.b.c.
