FITA Beginner's Awards

As an introduction to archery, beginners will follow the various strands of the FITA Beginner's Awards.  These require beginners to not only achieve a score of 115 out of 150 at increasing distances from 10m to 30m, but to also show a developing knowledge of the equipment used and the general principles of the sport.

Beginners will be given a copy of the various study notes as they commence each stage.  They are also given below for reference.

On successful completion of each stage, archers will be awarded with a certificate and the relevant quiver badge.
