Archery Equipment

Whilst the school supplies all the basic equipment beginers need to take part in archery, some boys may decide that they would like some of their own equipment.

The school strongly suggests that boys do not buy their own bows yet.  As the boys get more practice, they will get stronger and very soon outgrow a bow that they purchase now.

Boys may wish to purchase the following items of personal equipment:

Finger Tab - A shelf or anchor tab is highly recommended.  The school uses A&F standard tabs.
Arm Bracer - These are available in a variety of styles and sizes.
Finger Sling - Some people find these useful to prevent gripping of the riser.
Quiver - Various styles of quiver are available each with its own merits.
