To help raise funds for sports equipment for the forthcoming rugby tour of New Zealand, a Rugby Committee has been formed, which will be staging a series of events.

 

At the recent Auction of Promises, together with the Friends of Nottingham High School,  we managed to raise £9,000.00!  This was an incredible amount and our thanks go to everyone who donated a promise and everyone who attended the evening.

 

On Thursday, 28th February 2008 there will be a Sportmen's Dinner at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Wollaton Street, Nottingham, to raise funds for the forthcoming Nottingham High School Rugby Tour of New Zealand.

 

Speakers will include:

 

Dean Richards - Leicester, England, Lions and current Director of Rugby at NEC Harlequins

 

Ian Robertson - former Scottish International 3/4 and BBC Radio/TV Rugby correspondent.

 

Tickets cost £37.50 each or £375 table of 10.
