It's official - our best ever GCSE results!

Well done to all our GCSE students on achieving the School's best ever set of results. Highlights include:

• Record pass at A* level - 46.9% of all passes were awarded an A*

• Record pass at A*/A - 81.3% of all passes were awarded either an A* or an A

• 52 boys gained at least 10 A* or A grades

• 80% of boys achieved 7 or more passes at A*/A grade.

Well done also to all our A level students on a really fantastic set of results!  Amongst the highlights at A Level were: 

• 19% of grades were at A* and 36.6% of boys got at least one A* at A level
• Almost 54% of grades were at A*/A
• Over 80% of the grades are A*, A or B.
• 51 boys got 3 grade As or better.  Of those, 24 boys got at least 2 A*s, 11 boys got at least 3 A*s and 1 boy got 4 A*s.

PRESENTATION FOR FUTURE DOCTORS - Friday, 10th September, 1pm, LLT 

On Friday, 10th September there will be a presentation in the LLT by Dr Michael Zemenides of Future Doctors, for all students in Years 11,12, and 13 who are thinking about medicine as a career. This presentation, which is a joint venture with NGHS, will tell you all you need to know about becoming a doctor, and what you need to do to get into MedicalSchool.
