Lower School Production | Emil and the Detectives

 

This year’s Lower School production is the acclaimed paly ‘Emil and the Detectives’ by Erich Kastner, adapted by Carl Martin.

Young Emil Tischbein embarks on the biggest adventure of his life in 1920s Berlin! When Emil’s mother, Ida, entrusts him to deliver an envelope full money to their relatives in Berlin, Emil can’t wait to board the train. Unfortunately, the journey doesn’t go to plan, and he crosses paths with a strange man in a bowler hat. The big city is a dazzling and dangerous place. How will he ever track down the man in the bowler hat?  Emil soon teams up with Pony the Hat, Toots, The Professor, Tuesday and a whole gang of young Detectives determined to track down the man from the train and reunite Emil with his money… will they succeed?

Performances take place in the Founder Hall Theatre, Monday 23rd – Wednesday 25th June.

Curtain up at 7pm.

Free refreshments will be served in the 500 Bar during the interval.
